Bengaluru carries the tag of India's startup hub, full of infrastructure engineers with firm opinions. Most of them already run workloads on a big cloud provider, so their real question to us is rarely whether a VPS functions well. It usually comes down to what a bare server costs when a team only needs a handful of machines for staging, side projects or a presence inside the Indian market.

Latency from Bengaluru

Bengaluru to our Noida location: roughly 60 ms round trip. Across South India generally: 40 to 60 ms. We operate a single region, in Noida, Delhi NCR.

Our facility sits in Noida, about 1,750 km from Bengaluru. That stretch, whether you start from Koramangala, Whitefield or Electronic City, stays within the country even though it is far, and it still beats the delay of most servers located abroad. Teams whose users sit mainly in the south and who need the fastest possible response per click should pick a server based there instead; we won't claim otherwise.

For things like batch processing, internal tooling, continuous integration, development boxes and APIs called by other servers, this distance matters far less.

Reaching our Noida servers from Bengaluru

ISPRoute
AirtelWe use Airtel as one of our transit partners, so Airtel customers in Bengaluru travel north on the Airtel network itself, without being handed to a different carrier.
JioJio connections arrive at our end through transit links or peering exchanges. We cannot guarantee which path Jio chooses within the south.
ACT FibernetACT serves a large share of homes and small offices in the city. Its traffic exits through upstream providers on a route that crosses much of the country, so test during peak hours to see real performance.
Excitel and HathwayBoth are common choices among developers working remotely. Performance shifts through the day mainly because of the last-mile connection, not because of anything on our side.

On 26 Oct 2026 we recorded 57.7 ms using ICMP pings to our Noida server, drawn from 8 Globalping probe results located in Bengaluru (covering Atria Convergence Technologies and Bharti Airtel), 16 packets per probe, taking the median across three test rounds.

How companies in Bengaluru use these servers

Staging and preview setups

Teams spin up a server per branch each morning and remove it at night. Because billing runs hourly, you only pay for the eight hours it stayed active, and deployment finishing in under a minute makes this a workable daily habit.

Running your own tools instead of paying for several SaaS seats

Think analytics similar to Plausible, a self-managed Postgres database, Mattermost or a password manager. One founder based in Indiranagar swapped five separate SaaS subscriptions for a single VPS and a weekend of configuration.

An India footprint for a product built abroad

Businesses selling worldwide from infrastructure in the US sometimes need a server inside India to serve local customers whose data must stay in the country. A modest VPS in Noida can serve as that starting point.

Questions on our Bengaluru coverage

Why would a company in Bengaluru pick a server in Noida?

Mainly for lower cost and a simpler setup, suited to workloads where a slightly longer round trip isn't a problem, such as continuous integration, staging, batch work and internal tooling. If your entire user base sits within Karnataka and per-click speed matters most, choose a provider located in the south instead.

Can I set up Kubernetes on these servers?

Yes, the VM is fully yours to configure as you wish. Small teams often start with k3s spread across two or three servers.

How does latency here compare with AWS Mumbai?

AWS Mumbai sits physically closer to Bengaluru than we do. Our strength lies in offering a straightforward server with predictable pricing, not in proximity to your location.

Billing and plan questions answered

Where exactly is the Bengaluru server hosted?

Inside our Noida facility in Delhi NCR. We don't operate a separate datacentre in Bengaluru; typical round-trip latency between the two cities runs around 60 ms.

How does billing work?

You can pay hourly from a prepaid balance, or commit to a term between one month and 36 months for a lower monthly rate. Every bill comes as a GST tax invoice.

Does DDoS protection come included?

Yes. Every server runs behind Cloudflare Magic Transit at no added cost.

Can I deploy Windows instead of Linux?

Yes. Windows Server 2022 images are offered on every server size alongside the available Linux distributions.

How fast is the server available after I order?

Typically under a minute once payment clears. Your eKYC verification, using Aadhaar through DigiLocker or another ID document, happens once per account before your first server goes live, as required under CERT-In rules.

Is there a cap on bandwidth usage?

No fixed cap applies. Incoming traffic costs nothing, and outgoing traffic follows a fair-use limit tied to your plan on a 1 Gbps port.
