Design Your Own Cloud Server in India — Pick vCPU, RAM, NVMe

Choose your vCPU, RAM, NVMe disk and optional S3 Advance storage on NABHCLOUD, then compare hourly, monthly and multi-year prices together.

Configure your cloud server

Drag the sliders to set your resources; figures for every billing term update together as you adjust them.

  • vCPU: adjustable in steps of 2, from 2 to 64 cores (4 vCPU shown by default).
  • RAM: adjustable in steps of 2 GB, from 2 GB to 256 GB (8 GB shown by default).
  • NVMe storage: adjustable in steps of 10 GB, from 10 GB up to 10,240 GB, with one free snapshot included (200 GB shown by default).
  • S3 Advance storage: an optional add-on giving 50,000 free requests for every 100 GB, starting from 0 GB.

You can add Server Backup for an extra charge drawn from your wallet each hour. It gives 7 daily and 7 weekly restore points along with Vault Protect, and becomes available once your account has made its first successful payment.

A fixed term does not lock you in. If you end a monthly or longer plan ahead of schedule, the leftover value is added back to your wallet balance, calculated down to the second, and a GST credit note is issued automatically. That wallet balance can be spent on any service here.

How the discount ladder is structured

Each saving applies on top of the previous one, in this fixed order:

Step 1: Hourly list rate

This is the monthly rate divided by 730 hours, charged for each hour the server runs and invoiced at the end of the month. Keep it running a full month and the total matches the list price exactly.

Step 2: Monthly plan, 30% off

Committing to a full calendar month lowers the price of the entire virtual machine by 30%. All longer commitments calculate their saving starting from this monthly figure.

Step 3: Longer commitments

Quarterly, 6-month, 12-month, 24-month and 36-month terms each reduce the monthly plan price further and are paid in advance. Ending a term early means the leftover portion comes back to you as wallet credit, in full — these terms are savings, not lock-ins.

Setting up a cloud server in India: four stages

  1. Choose your specifications

Adjust the vCPU, RAM and NVMe sliders and watch the hourly, monthly and term totals change as you go.

  2. Select an operating image

Options include a Linux distribution, pre-built stacks such as WordPress or Docker, or Windows Server, where the licence is charged by the hour.

  3. Decide on a billing term

Start with hourly billing, or lock in a term between one month and 36 months for a lower rate; cancelling early sends the unused value back as wallet credit.

  4. Launch and settle payment

Register, finish eKYC a single time, and pay by UPI, card, net banking or wallet balance — your server goes live in under a minute, with a GST invoice provided.

Common questions about configuring a server

What does a custom cloud server cost in India?

Your total is the combined rate for the vCPU, RAM and NVMe you select, and the configurator displays the monthly, hourly and term cost as you move each slider, before 18% GST is added. Our standard plans begin at modest monthly and hourly rates shown on this page, and every build already comes with an IPv4 address, DDoS protection, a 1 Gbps network port, and one free snapshot.

Can I change the configuration after deployment?

Yes — vCPU, RAM and disk size can each be adjusted independently, either through the control panel or the API. Storage can only be increased, never reduced. The server reboots once during the change, so take a snapshot beforehand if you want a point to roll back to. On hourly billing, the new rate applies from the following hour; monthly and longer terms are adjusted proportionally for the remainder of the term.

Should I choose hourly billing or a fixed term?

Hourly billing suits servers you expect to run for days or a few weeks; a term makes more sense once you know the server is permanent. The monthly plan costs 30% less than the hourly list rate, and a 36-month term costs 65% less. Ending a term early still returns the unused balance to you as wallet credit, in full.

Can I run Windows Server on a custom configuration?

Yes, provided the configuration includes a minimum of 4 vCPU plus 8 GB of RAM. Select either Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025 as your image at order time; the licence fee is already bundled in, and RDP access is ready the moment the server boots.

How quickly is the server ready?

Once payment goes through, the server is live in under a minute. eKYC verification, required under CERT-In rules, is completed just once per account before your first deployment and is never requested again afterward.
