Learn to order a NABHCLOUD VPS and manage it from the panel: console access, power controls, password reset, snapshots, resizing and reinstalling.
This guide walks through a server's full life inside the NABHCLOUD panel — placing the order, signing in, controlling power, using the console, taking snapshots, resizing, reinstalling and cancelling.

Browse VPS plans — billed by the hour, GST invoice included, ready to use within a minute.
From the Services menu, select New server, then choose a plan, an operating system and a billing period. Hourly billing has a one-hour minimum per server, while committing to a month or longer brings the per-hour cost down (see our comparison of hourly and monthly billing). Your wallet balance needs to cover the order amount. The instance typically comes online in under a minute once payment clears, and its IP address along with login credentials appear on the server's own page.
Every server has separate tabs: Overview, Usage, Transfer, Console and access, Snapshots, Reinstall, Activity and Billing. Overview displays the current status, configuration details and network settings. Usage plots CPU, memory, network and disk activity over time. Activity records each action performed on the instance.
Buttons for Power on, Power off and Reboot sit at the top of the server page. Selecting Open console launches a browser-based terminal in a separate tab; this connection works even if the server's internal network or firewall settings are broken, though the instance itself needs to be running for it to connect.
The Snapshots tab lets you capture the state of the root disk at a given moment. You can label it before clicking Take snapshot, which is worth doing ahead of any risky change. Choosing Restore reverts the disk to that saved point, discards anything written afterward, and reboots the server. Delete clears out a snapshot you no longer need. Note that a snapshot lives on the same server, not as an independent backup, so hold on to your own separate copies of anything important.
Open the instance and click Resize. You can switch to a different plan outright, or adjust vCPU, RAM and disk individually — whichever values you don't touch remain unchanged. Before confirming, the panel shows the cost of the new configuration along with what you'll be charged or refunded immediately.
For monthly or longer commitments, the remaining portion of the paid cycle is settled on the spot: scaling up draws from your wallet and generates a GST invoice, while scaling down credits the difference back to your wallet. When the wallet doesn't have enough funds, the button instead reads Pay and resize — the change sits pending until you add funds, then applies automatically once the balance is sufficient. A pending change can be called off at any point before it goes through. Instances on hourly billing switch size right away and start billing at the new rate from the following hour.
The server reboots a single time to apply the new configuration; if it was already stopped, it remains stopped afterward. Storage can only be expanded, never reduced. When you add disk space, you get to decide whether the operating system's partition should grow to use it — take a snapshot beforehand if you'd like a point to roll back to.
Using the Reinstall tab wipes the root disk and rebuilds it from whichever template you pick. Every piece of data on that disk is lost, though the IP address remains unchanged. Once the rebuild finishes, a new password is shown a single time. Back up your files or take a snapshot before starting this process.
Within the Billing tab, Cancel at period end simply allows the current paid cycle to expire naturally. Terminate now, by contrast, wipes out the server and its data right away — the panel lists exactly what you'll retain or still owe before you confirm the action.
Login details and the IP address appear on the server's page. Connect using SSH for Linux instances or Remote Desktop for Windows ones, or simply launch the browser-based console from that same page.
Use the Reset password option on the server page. If the template in use doesn't support that, open the console instead and change the password from inside the operating system.
Yes — reinstalling clears the root disk completely and rebuilds it using the template you select. The server keeps the same IP address throughout.
Capturing a snapshot doesn't restart anything. Restoring one does, since it rolls the disk back and reboots the instance.
Compute usage stops being billed, but the disk and the reserved IP address keep accruing charges at a lower hourly rate until the server is terminated.
Yes. Use the Resize button on the server page to adjust vCPU, RAM and disk independently, or move to a different plan entirely. Upgrades draw proportionally from the wallet, downgrades are credited back, disk capacity never decreases, and the instance reboots once to finish the change.
