App hosting
Run Dolibarr, an open-source ERP and CRM with switchable modules, on NABHCLOUD's one-click app hosting in India, with MariaDB included.
Dolibarr is a free, open-source ERP and CRM aimed at small businesses. It ships with almost nothing switched on, and you turn on only the modules you actually need — contacts, quotations, sales orders, invoices, inventory, projects, HR and bookkeeping. We install it for you, pairing it with a MariaDB database on the server running your app.
Install Dolibarr · View plans and pricing
You need the Starter plan or a higher tier to run it. Current plans and prices are shown on this page. HTTPS, a custom domain and a GST invoice are included, and hosting is based out of our Noida facility.
The installer sets up Dolibarr together with MariaDB and finishes the setup automatically. Sign in at the app URL as "admin" using the password stored in the panel under Login details, then switch on whatever modules you require from Setup → Modules.
Dolibarr is a mature PHP-based ERP and CRM that has grown over time through add-on modules. By default, almost every feature stays off, and you enable what suits your business — third parties, proposals, sales orders, invoicing, stock, projects, bank accounts, leave records and expense claims. As you switch modules on, the navigation menu adjusts itself. It is released under the GPL licence and runs on PHP, paired with either MariaDB or MySQL.
This modular design is both a strength and a risk. Turning on a dozen modules straightaway leaves you with a cluttered menu that confuses your team. A steadier approach is to enable one module per week — starting with contacts and quotations, then invoicing, and stock only once it's needed. Every module also carries its own access rights, so visit Users and Groups to limit each person to what their role requires.
Your information lives in two places, and backups must cover both: the database itself, plus the documents folder holding generated PDFs and any uploaded files. Configuration settings sit in conf/conf.php, and a file named install.lock prevents the setup wizard from running twice. For use in India, you'll need to set up the chart of accounts and applicable tax percentages yourself — none of this comes preconfigured; have your chartered accountant verify the accounting module's reports before relying on them to file returns.
| Workload | Plan | Note |
|---|---|---|
| A small organisation of up to ten employees using a handful of modules | Starter | Dolibarr's PHP and MariaDB footprint stays light at this scale. |
| Heavier use of stock, projects and several simultaneous users | Pro | Needs extra concurrent PHP processes and a database that can handle more traffic. |
This plan gives you 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, and 20 GB of disk space, with room for up to 2 apps, so Dolibarr can run beside your own custom code on one server. Billing is monthly, and the displayed price excludes 18% GST.
Install Dolibarr
No — there's no database to configure yourself, since the installer has already completed that step. You only need to pick your organisation's details, currency and which modules to switch on.
The standard outbound SMTP ports — such as 25, 465 and 587 — are blocked on our app hosting. Set Dolibarr's mail configuration to use a provider that accepts SMTP connections on port 2525 instead.
Your records live inside the MariaDB database, along with a documents folder stored on your own application server. Both come through restarts and updates intact.
Take a database dump along with the documents folder. It also helps to copy conf/conf.php so you keep a record of your settings.
Pick an application from the store, choose which app server to deploy it on, and select Install. It receives its own HTTPS address immediately, its passwords are auto-generated and displayed once, and it's ready to use within a couple of minutes.
