NABHCLOUD Billing, Invoices and UPI AutoPay Guide

How billing works on NABHCLOUD: hourly and term invoices, wallet payments, UPI AutoPay, stopped-server charges and cancelling a service.

Guides

This guide covers how NABHCLOUD charges you: metered hourly usage, invoices for monthly and longer terms, settling an invoice from your wallet or online, UPI AutoPay, and what follows when a server is stopped or cancelled.

Hourly charges and term invoices

When you run a server on hourly billing, usage is tracked and deducted from your wallet, with every server charged for at least one hour. If you choose a monthly or longer term instead, you get one invoice per billing cycle, and the per-month cost drops as the term gets longer.

Usage is tracked down to a fraction of a paisa (or a cent for USD accounts), and rounding happens once, on the month's total, never on each individual hour. So a server left running the full month on hourly billing ends up costing exactly the hourly list rate.

Settling an invoice

Your Billing section lists every invoice along with its current status. On an open invoice, you can pick Use wallet to cover it fully or partially from your balance, or Pay now to settle it through an online payment. Each of these options, along with Autopay, shows a confirmation screen first — stating the invoice number, the amount due and where the payment will go — and nothing is deducted until you confirm. GST appears on tax invoices; receipts for wallet top-ups are proforma documents and carry no GST. Once you save a GSTIN on your account, it is printed on future invoices.

For new orders and renewals without an active autopay mandate, your wallet balance is applied first — promotional credit before your own funds — and anything left over stays on the invoice for you to pay via Pay now. Renewals billed through an autopay mandate skip the wallet entirely. If an order is cancelled or left unpaid until it expires, any wallet credit used on it returns to your wallet, with promotional credit staying flagged as promotional. Where a card, UPI or PayPal payment has already gone through for a new order, or one is still being verified, you cannot cancel that order yourself, nor is it auto-cancelled — raise a support ticket and our team will clear the payment first. Before cancelling an unpaid order automatically, we send a single reminder containing a Pay now link. Orders where you have just initiated a card, UPI or PayPal payment get extra time to complete, and support can extend that window further if you ask.

UPI AutoPay

Eligible invoices show a UPI AutoPay option in the panel. Approving the mandate in your banking or UPI app settles that invoice immediately, and every subsequent renewal is charged through the same mandate without you doing anything further.

If wallet credit is available, the first autopay charge only covers whatever remains after that credit is applied; every renewal after that is billed at the standard autopay amount. Where the wallet would leave only a negligible amount for the mandate to charge, the wallet is skipped on that order instead. If your wallet already covers the entire order, you can set up autopay starting from the first renewal invoice.

  • Mandate approval can take a few minutes to go through. Do not pay the invoice separately while it is pending, since approving the mandate itself settles the invoice.
  • You can switch off autopay either from Billing or directly in your UPI app. The server keeps running and simply renews from your wallet at the standard rate instead.

Charges on stopped servers and reserved IPs

A server that is powered off still occupies its allocated disk space, so it continues to be billed at a reduced hourly rate; current rates are shown on this page. Its public IP remains reserved to that server at no extra cost while stopped. If Reserve IP is switched on, a stopped VM is also billed a reduced hourly amount to hold onto that IP. If you no longer need the server, terminate it instead of leaving it stopped.

Cancelling a service

Choosing Cancel at period end on a server's Billing tab lets the already-paid term run to completion before it stops. Terminate now shuts it down immediately; before you confirm, the page shows either what value you retain or what an early termination costs, and all data is permanently erased. Cancel at period end also pulls back the invoice for the upcoming renewal. Once a server is terminated, any unpaid renewal or order invoices tied to it are cancelled, so you owe nothing further on those — though GST tax invoices for usage already billed remain payable.

Refunds

Refunds on payments follow our refund policy as set out in the terms.

Accounts billed from outside India are charged in US dollars with no GST applied; their invoices, PayPal receipts and any refunds are likewise all in USD.

When your balance runs low

Your dashboard shows a warning once your balance gets low, and services are suspended after a grace period if the balance hits zero. They start working again automatically as soon as a payment goes through.

Questions on this guide

Can I cancel an unpaid invoice?

For wallet top-up receipts, yes — use the Cancel button on the receipt under Billing. Invoices for a service close automatically once that server is terminated, and choosing Cancel at period end withdraws the invoice for the next renewal.

How do I get a GST invoice?

Save your company's GSTIN on your account. From then on, paid services are billed with a GST tax invoice you can use for input tax credit.

Does UPI AutoPay cost extra?

No, there is no extra charge for paying through autopay. Each renewal is simply billed automatically through the mandate at the standard rate.

How do I stop UPI AutoPay?

Use Cancel autopay under Billing, or revoke the mandate from within your UPI app. The server stays active and continues renewing from your wallet instead.

Why was I charged for a stopped server?

A stopped server still holds its disk space and its reserved IP, both billed at a reduced hourly rate. Terminate the server if you want the charge to stop.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Before you confirm a termination, the page shows what you retain or what it costs to end the term early. For any other situation, raise a support ticket.

Can I get a refund on a payment?

Refunds are handled according to our refund policy as described in the terms.
