How an AI agent finds, prices and manages a NABHCLOUD VPS over MCP or the REST API, with API keys, spending caps and what stays under your control.
Want an AI agent to size, price and run a NABHCLOUD VPS on its own? Split the job into two halves. You open the account, verify it once and load the wallet; from there the agent reads our catalogue, prices the server it needs and manages your instances through a key that you control. This guide covers what an agent can reach on NABHCLOUD without any key, what opens up once it holds one, and the limits that keep spending decisions with you.
Published by our editorial team · 25 Oct 2026 · updated 25 Oct 2026. Figures shown through the API are pulled live from our current catalogue, in INR, excluding GST.
Spin up a server — billed hourly, GST invoice included, ready inside a minute.
NABHCLOUD runs an open, read-only MCP server at https://nabhcloud.com/mcp/public, with its server card at https://nabhcloud.com/.well-known/mcp.json. No account or key is needed, and it holds no personal data. Its tools include get_plans, quote_server, get_support_info, search_guides and get_guide, drawing from the same catalogue shown on our pricing page, so an agent always works from current figures rather than numbers it recalls.
Agents built for plain HTTP can pull the public catalogue as JSON at https://my.nabhcloud.com/api/v1/public/catalog, and send https://my.nabhcloud.com/api/v1/public/quote a request for the price of any chosen vCPU, RAM and disk size. Figures come back in INR for India, before 18% GST, and in USD for customers outside India.
Sign up, then verify your phone number and email address.
Verify once with Aadhaar/DigiLocker or an ID document before your first server goes live, as CERT-In requires.
Add money by UPI, card or net banking. Agents cannot load the wallet or settle an invoice, so whatever you put in sets the ceiling on what the account can spend.
In the panel, open Developer, then API keys. Pick Read only or Full access, an optional expiry date, and optionally the IP addresses allowed to use the key. It is shown to you only once.
Developer, then AI agents (MCP), shows the account endpoint https://my.nabhcloud.com/mcp plus a ready-made configuration for Claude. Paste in the key, and the agent operates within that key's limits.
Hourly servers are charged per hour started, with a 1-hour minimum: the hourly rate equals the monthly list price divided by 730, so an agent that spins up a test server and removes it later pays only for the hours it actually ran. A server goes live under a minute after being ordered. Monthly terms and longer commitments bring down the cost per month through term pricing, and every invoice issued is a GST tax invoice.
You handle setup once: open the account, finish eKYC, load the wallet and hand the agent an API key. After that it prices and manages servers through MCP or the REST API, bound by that key's limits. It cannot load the wallet or pay invoices.
Yes, two. The public one needs no key and answers questions on plans, prices and guides. The account one needs an API key issued from your panel.
Yes. The public quote_server tool, or the public quote endpoint over HTTP, prices any combination of vCPU, RAM and disk from the live catalogue.
Spending is capped by the wallet, which only you can top up. An upgrade the wallet cannot cover simply waits for you, and you can also give the agent a read-only key, an expiry date or an IP restriction.
Only with a full-access key that carries an IP restriction and has destructive actions switched on, and only when called from an allowed address. A read-only key can only see, not delete.
Yes. INR prices exclude 18% GST, which is added on the tax invoice. Customers outside India see USD prices with no GST added.
