One-Click NocoDB Hosting in India | NABHCLOUD

Run NocoDB in India with a single click. This open-source Airtable-style tool turns any database into a spreadsheet with grids, forms and more.

NocoDB converts a plain database into a grid you can click through like a spreadsheet. It works as a free, open alternative to Airtable, offering kanban boards, calendars, galleries, custom forms and a built-in API alongside the main grid view.

Install NocoDB straight from our panel, or review our hosting plans first.

This app needs at least our Starter plan. Current plans and prices are shown on this page, and all listed amounts exclude GST. Every installation includes HTTPS, lets you attach a domain you own, comes with a GST invoice, and runs from our Noida data centre.

Where teams put NocoDB to work

  • A simple CRM or stock-tracking tool
  • Forms whose entries land directly in a table
  • Letting non-technical staff browse a SQL database
  • Small internal utilities built around an API

What happens once you install

The moment you install it, NocoDB comes up over HTTPS. Whoever signs in first on that address becomes its owner.

  • You receive a dedicated web address secured with HTTPS right away, hosted on our apps subdomain.
  • Any passwords the app needs are generated automatically and stored under Login Details, where you can view them anytime.
  • It runs on a private, always-on app server — no SSH access or Docker knowledge required.
  • The control panel gives you logs, a restart button and the option to attach your own domain.

Understanding NocoDB

NocoDB puts a spreadsheet face on a database, so people comfortable with rows and columns can work with it directly. Records appear as a grid, with kanban, calendar, gallery or form layouts available for the same data. Connect it to a PostgreSQL or MySQL database you manage yourself, and edits made through the interface write directly to the real tables. Alternatively, you can create a brand-new base directly inside NocoDB, which then builds its own storage automatically.

Take care with that second option. Once a base is linked to an outside database, inserting a column through the grid runs an ALTER TABLE statement against your live schema — and anyone you have added as an editor can trigger the same change. Give NocoDB a dedicated database account limited to the access it actually needs, and lean on viewer or commenter roles wherever possible.

By default, NocoDB stores its own configuration — views, filters and user accounts — in a local SQLite file, which works well for a small group. As usage grows, point the NC_DB environment variable at a PostgreSQL database instead, to move that metadata off SQLite. Also set NC_AUTH_JWT_SECRET to a value of your own, so that session tokens remain valid across restarts. Internally the app listens on port 8080, and you can send a public form link to people who do not have an account at all.

Getting NocoDB running

  1. Install the app and create the first account. Pick NocoDB from our App Store and install it. Whoever registers first on its address becomes the owner, so sign up right away yourself.
  2. Start a base or link an existing database. Build a base from scratch inside NocoDB, or point it at an outside data source by supplying the host, the port and a database account made just for this purpose.
  3. Add the views and forms you need. Set up a kanban or gallery layout for internal use, plus a form for outside submissions, and only hand out the form's public link if you actually want strangers filling it in.
  4. Bring in collaborators with narrow permissions. Add people as editors, commenters or viewers, and keep the editor role limited to as few accounts as possible.

Starter plan

The Starter plan covers 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM and 20 GB of disk space, with room for up to 2 apps — enough to run NocoDB beside your own code on one server. Billing is monthly, and the listed rate excludes 18% GST.

Questions about hosting NocoDB

Can NocoDB connect to a database I already have?

Yes — point it at an external PostgreSQL or MySQL instance, for instance a PostgreSQL app installed from our App Store on the same server.

Does it alter my existing tables?

Only when someone changes the structure from inside NocoDB. Viewing or editing rows only touches the data, but introducing a new column rewrites the structure. Configure a database account that permits exactly what you intend to allow.

Where does NocoDB store its own configuration?

Inside a SQLite file in its data directory, unless you point the NC_DB variable at a PostgreSQL or MySQL URL instead. Make sure that folder is backed up.

Can people outside my organisation submit a form?

Yes. Hand out the public link from the form view, and add a captcha-style check if it will be reachable from the open internet.

What actually happens during one-click install?

Pick an app from our App Store, choose which app server it should run on, and click Install. The chosen app receives a unique, HTTPS-secured web address immediately. Its login passwords are created automatically and shown to you a single time, and the whole app becomes usable within a minute or two.
